The Analytics Product Suite, a project by Global Payments, takes disparate sources of merchant data, think credit card processing and customer demographics, and interprets all of that information into concise and easy-to-use dashboards and tools — allowing for easier marketing efforts, while validating the effectiveness of those efforts and making next steps truly data-driven.
Dev.Pro developed a web application for turning store performance data into actionable business insights. The system is easily customizable and configurable for each integrator and region, implemented migration to green-blue deployment, introduced easy-to-manage portable infrastructure.
DEV.PRO CONTRIBUTION
Dev.Pro has updated architecture to a service-oriented approach.
400GB of data was migrated from a Cassandra database to MongoDB.
Quick and easy deployments and a roll back with no downtime, thanks to two identical environments, one of which is live at any given point of time.
Zero-downtime and independent per-service deployments lead to a decrease in time-to-market and increased responsiveness to customer needs.
All localization-specific parameters are organized so that they can be easily extended to new locales and updated on the fly without redeploying the application.
Introduced a configuration management approach to reuse as many options as possible between different partners.
Disaster infrastructure recovery plan was designed and implemented: configuration and application layers can restore in less than an hour.
