The Heartland Billpay Solution, an integral part of Global Payments’ suite of financial tools, needed an extension team that is PCI-compliant, has expertise in FinTech, and could start contributing from day one. After just four months of cooperation, Dev.Pro has proven to be a great fit.

Heartland Billpay, one of Global Payments’ products, brought on Dev.Pro as a tech vendor to augment their own team of engineers and streamline the development of new features.

DEV.PRO CONTRIBUTION

Dev.Pro joined the Heartland Billpay team in July 2021 and organized a team from four countries. Seamless integration ensured that time zone differences did not affect the project.

Thanks to positive experience and trust between partners, Dev.Pro was asked to hire another team of six software developers from the LatAm market to oversee the ticket support team.

One of the first successful rollouts was the Help in Profile selector feature. This feature is now on the last step of preparation before deployment.

We introduced Scrum-based processes to institute a frictionless workflow, two-way communication, and a predictable process management. Full visibility and transparency are key provisions for the client, so a hierarchy of KPIs and metrics were established to ensure accurate reporting and communication.

Dev.Pro’s team has proven to be a valuable source of technical decisions. Dev.Pro’s engineers frequently offer their opinions on most of the Billpay’s upcoming tasks and queries related to existing payment applications: Web Payments, Virtual Terminal, Mobile Cashier, POS-Terminals, and MerchantView.
